Nissan hi-tech to go home, as Brexit fallout begins

While the United Kingdom is still deciding on what deals they should make with the European Union, companies operating in the UK are making plan on their next move.

According to a report by the Insititute of Directors (IOD), nearly a third of British companies plan to move at least part of their business abroad because of Brexit or are actively considering it. The UK-based lobbying group surveyed 1,200 of the 30,000 firms it represents for the report.

The IOD found that some larger companies, like Sony and Panasonic, have already moved headquarters to the EU and have raises concerns of smaller companies now following suit.

Statista has compiled the survey’s findings below, which the IOD had “no pleasure” in reporting.
