Knives Out in cinemas now

The film gives a new take on whodunit, with a touch of comedy while solving the mystery of who murdered a well-off crime novelist.

When renowned, well-off crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is announced dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday party, which he celebrated with the entire Thrombey family, the suave Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) mysteriously arrives to investigate the series of events that led to the death of Harlan.

Viewers are introduced to Harlan’s dysfunctional family members one by one, while Blanc sifts through a web of their narcissistic lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan’s suspicious death. 

With an all-star ensemble cast, including Chris Evans, Ana De Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, Toni Collette, LaKeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford and Jaeden Martell, Knives Out is a witty whodunit film which guarantees to keep audiences guessing until the very end.

Spanning decades, Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, namely the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa,. It offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organised crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics.

Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in this epic saga of organised crime in post-war America, told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious crime figures of the 20th century.

Other notable cast members include Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin, Stephen Graham, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jack Huston, Kathrine Narducci, and Jesse Plemons. The film was produced by Martin Scorsese, Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Irwin Winkler, Gerald Chamales, Gaston Pavlovich, Randall Emmett, and Gabriele Israilovici.
The film will be available to stream on Netflix from 27 November 2019.
