CES: Nommi pocket router

Nommi, an intelligent pocket router that uses eSim and ARON technology, will be demonstrated at CES 2019 next week. It’s a device that promises great Internet connectivity for travelling professionals and digital nomads. Like the Google Fi project, it offers high Internet speeds, simple data packages and worldwide coverage. But, unlike the Fi project, Nommi claims a far larger Wi-Fi database, smoother connectivity, lower price per GB and a built-in VPN service.

It has attracted international attention for its use of eSim technology to harness 4G without having to swap SIM cards; and ARON, which scans for Wi-Fi networks in the background and automatically connects the user.
