Are you in it to Wing it?

Gadget, in partnership with LG South Africa, is giving away an LG Wing smartphone to a reader who can answer one simple question about the new dual-screen smartphone.

With three rear cameras – a 64MP OIS wide lens, a 12MP ultra-wide gimbal lens, and an even wider 13MP ultra-wide lens – users will be able to capture content in a variety of situations.

This is complemented by LG’s camera software that allows for a range of different recording and editing situations. The Dual Recording feature enables users to shoot footage with the front and rear camera, capturing two sets of video footage, which they can either save together as one video or separately.

The Gimbal Motion Camera turns the second screen into a grip, providing the stability needed to capture clearer shots and smooth video footage in horizontal mode with one. No more shaky and blurry video quality, just smoother, more professional-looking videos that can be used in a more professional video editing setting.

After the video is shot, users can head over to the LG Creator’s Kit. The second screen can be used as a dedicated editing palette while the video or photo is displayed in full on the main screen. This can dramatically speed up the editing process, while users can keep an eye out for finer details on the uninterrupted video feed.

On the inside, the Wing features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G Mobile Platform. This means fast 5G connectivity for users within a 5G area, while the integrated AI processor can optimise camera shots and battery life.

Games like Asphalt 9 are also being optimised for the Wing’s second screen, adding a new dimension to the device. To complement this, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Elite Gaming which enables instantaneous response times, cinema-quality graphics, and incredible audio on the device when in-games.

South Africans can pick up the Wing 5G for R20 000 from their cell network of choice. One lucky Gadget reader will be able to pick up the LG Wing 5G for zero rand.
