Conarium: A Lovecraftian Horror

Conarium follows four scientists in their endeavour to challenge the absolute limits of nature. The scientist sought to transcend human consciousness with the use of a device called a Conarium.

The player assumes the role of Frank Gilman, a scientist who went on an Antarctic expedition to challenge what we normally considered to be the “absolute” limits of nature.

Conarium was inspired by the HP Lovecraft novella At The Mountains of Madness. It was originally released for PC in June 2017 to critical and community acclaim. The game won Game of the Year and Best PC Game awards at the Kristal Piksel Video Game Awards ceremony that year.
