Woosh in the Winelands
Cell C is extending its HSPA+ coverage in the Western Cape with the launch of its network in two new towns in the province.
Customers living in Paarl, or its companion in the heart of the Cape Winelands, Wellington, will have access to very fast internet connections on Cell C’s HSPA+ 900 network.
‚We have covered all the major metro cities in the country, and the launch in Paarl and Wellington marks the start of the second phase of our rollout covering smaller towns across the country,‚ says Simon Camerer, Cell C’s Executive Head of Marketing.
While Paarl and Wellington are the focus coverage areas, surrounding lands will likely also experience connectivity thanks to the rollout of the network in the 900MHz frequency which provides for wider coverage and deeper in-door penetration.
Camerer said Cell C outlets and participating retailers in both Paarl and Wellington are stocked and ready to welcome new customers onto the Cell C network. He reminds customers to take advantage of Cell C’s 2GB and 5GB data offers before the promotion, which caused a massive stir in the market place almost one year ago, comes to an end. The two products, retailing at R149 and R299 per month for 2GB and 5GB of data per month over 12 months respectively also include a Cell C USB data speedstick. Cell C also offers a range of other data products starting from as little as R749 once-off for 3GB of data and a Cell C USB data speedstick.
