Samsung opens more stores
Samsung has opened two new Experience Stores in South Africa. The storers are designed to give customers hands-on experience with most of Samsung’s products before buying them.
Evolving consumer demands are changing the way brands interact with customers, meaning it is no longer simply about purchasing a product but rather about the entire experience, from choosing which product to buy right through to the after-sales service.
Michelle Potgieter, Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications at Samsung Electronics SA, says “Samsung has responded to this changing market landscape by providing a consumer centric environment through the opening of additional Samsung Experience Stores in targeted areas nationwide.
“The retail store has evolved into a brand and product showroom that has been created to provide customers with an immersive experience. Our Experience stores give consumers access to Samsung’s latest range of innovative solutions, whilst also providing advice, training and assistance in order to help them to make an informed purchasing decision,” says Potgieter.
The expansion of the Experience store network is focused on establishing additional retail outlets where consumers are able to interact with the complete range of Samsung products including visual display, digital imaging, digital appliances, mobile communications and digital air solutions. Furthermore, additional speciality stores that offer an extensive range of mobile devices including tablets, handsets and the latest high performance cameras are also planned to open countrywide.
With these additional stores, Samsung is demonstrating its commitment to ensuring easy access to its wide variety of mobile devices, audio visual solutions and premium household appliances. Importantly, nine stores are due to open within the next two months, creating more than 100 viable employment opportunities.
Samsung stores provide a holistic lifestyle consulting service where consumers can interact with experts to gain insight into how best tomaximise the benefits of the Samsung eco-system. The stores also have on-site technical representatives to manage mobile phone upgrades and facilitate service support bookings with the closest Smart Care Service Centres around the country.
The stores will showcase Samsung’s latest innovations and are designed to deliver a premium shopping and service experience, synonymous to the brand. “Samsung’s philosophy is to provide consumers with a smarter life without limitations, a belief that is carried throughout our entire operation. These stores are a true reflection of Samsung’s brand promise, with regards to our continuous pursuit for innovation.
