Race Mario Kart in Sandton

In celebration of Japan Week 2014, Nintendo will be hosting a Mario Kart race tournament for visitors to the event, which takes place at Sandton City from 25 to 30 March 2014.

Competitors can demonstrate your skill with Mario Kart 7, the Nintendo 3DS and new Nintendo 2DS: as well as the Wii Mini and Mario Kart for Wii. The event will include individual play and competitive family fun.

The person with the highest overall score will win a Nintendo 2DS, plus a copy of Mario Kart 7. Spot prizes will also be up for grabs on the day. In addition, those who already own a Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 2DS can bring it along for some StreetPass hits.

Finally, it is believed that the world-famous brothers, Mario and Luigi, will be making a special appearance on Saturday, 29 March, and Sunday, 30 March. Participants can have your photo taken with them and upload it to the Nintendo Distributor South Africa Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/nintendodistributorsa – to stand the chance of winning additional prizes.
