SMAC has announced the availability of Parrot’s new Bluetooth car kit solution, which it says will pair with just about any mobile phone.
SMAC, a company specialising in vehicle accessories and aftermarket products has announced the Parrot MKi9200 to the South African market. Parrot, the manufactures of wireless peripherals for mobile phones, has developed the MKi9200 the latest Bluetooth solution, a car kit with a detachable colour display and the ability to play music from any Bluetooth stereo (A2DP) compatible devices.
The MKi9200 can be used with up to 10 paired devices and is capable of storing up to 8000 contacts, it has automatic phonebook synchronisation and a wireless remote to control the functions of the car kit. It is compatible with virtually all cellphones via Bluetooth and has speaker independent voice recognition. You are also able to connect your music from multiple sources like your iPod/iPhone or any other MP3 player through an Auxillary input.
To date SMAC holds the exclusive distribution right for the Parrot range of products in Southern Africa and have enjoyed the status of one of Parrot’s biggest global partners in terms of distribution.

The MKi9200 is compatible for all vehicles and functions through the vehicle’s speakers.
Technical Specifications:
Automatic connection (enabled or disabled) as well as an external double microphone with adjustable positioning are standard features of the MKi9200. It has a digital stereo audio amplifier of 20 watts and is able to dispatch voice and music through the car’s speakers.
Other features include advanced noise reduction, echo-cancellation and Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP).
