Published on
The new 4G (fourth generation) wireless broadband technology known as LTE, or Long Term Evolution, is expected to be big in japan – but even bigger in China – in the next five years. The number of LTE connections in the Asia Pacific region will exceed 120 million by 2015, with the aggressive growth spearheaded by China: the country is expected to account for nearly half of the total number of LTE connections in Asia Pacific during this period. Japan will be in distant second place.
