CES 2012: 3D meets Android

At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, get ready to see 3D as never before, as Sensics introduces the first interactive 3D goggles that are able to run Android applications and offer real-time 360 degree tracking of the the user’s hands, without wires.

Anyone who has ever used virtual reality goggles to play video games knows they behave like a monitor on your head, requiring a connection to a video source and cables that limit user mobility.

To meet consumer demand for immersive gaming, Sensics will introduce the first intelligent, immersive, and interactive 3D goggles at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show. Going light years beyond previous goggles ‚ which focused on higher resolution and improved optics ‚ Sensics’ 3D goggles combine the resolution and field of view found in professional head-mounted displays, the unique ability to run Android applications on board, and real-time, 360-degree tracking of the hands from the user’s perspective without wires or the need for an external computer. This means limitless tracking area, greater portability, and on-board intelligence.

Sensics will provide private demonstrations at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show, being held in Las Vegas January 10-13.
