Neotel has dropped its international consumer call rates to India and China to R1 for the first minute and 25c per minute thereafter for pre-paid customers. Post-paid users get the first nine minutes for free.
Neotel consumer customers, making calls to China and India will experience a drop in call rates when making calls during the off peak time band.
These rates apply to the Neotel consumer Off Peak period from 18.00hrs to 07.00 weekdays, weekends and Public Holidays. The rates remain the same whether the call to India or China is made to a fixed line or mobile telephone. The calls will be billed on standard per second billing principle.
Dr. Angus Hay, Head of Business Development said, ‚”We already offer the most competitive call rates within South Africa. This drop on our international consumer call rates to India and China, show Neotel’s commitment to providing the best call rates to both local and international destinations, thus connecting South Africans to each other and to the world. Other additional international destinations will be added in due course.‚”
