MS launches cloud SP

Microsoft South Africa has launched its Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) programme, enabling partners to take on complete ownership of the cloud service relationship with their customers.

The programme provides partners with a platform to own the end-to-end customer engagement, by enabling them to directly provision, bill, and support Microsoft Cloud Services for their customers.

As technology has evolved over the years, Microsoft has been assisting customers weather the disruption storm, by helping them take advantage of new innovations that drive down costs, while increasing productivity and security, providing the flexibility to scale, and ultimately, enabling customers to realise their boldest ambitions.

Nowhere is this evolution more apparent than in cloud services, with customer expectations rapidly changing. Clients now want instant, on-demand delivery that’s cost-effective and provides quick return on investment, without compromising quality. Customers are turning to the cloud to meet these expectations and in order to be in a position to deliver on these demands, cloud service providers have to service the complete customer lifecycle.

“To meet the local growing demand of our cloud-based solutions, we’re thrilled to expand the capabilities for cloud partners under this new programme,” says Derek Kudsee, Partner Sales Lead at Microsoft South Africa. “By joining the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider programme, partners will deepen customer relationships and expand business opportunities in the cloud.”

Servicing the complete customer lifecycle

Amongst others, this programme enables partners to be responsible for direct billing, directly provision and manage customer subscriptions and take ownership of support and become the first point of contact for all customer cloud needs.

“What this means for partners, is that they will be able to more easily help their customers take full advantage of cloud services and empower staff to securely collaborate and communicate from almost anywhere, anytime, while using any device,” states Kudsee.
