Galaxy S4 open for orders

With the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone arriving in South Africa this week, Samsung has started its consumer pre-order campaign at various locations in Cape Town and Johannesburg ahead of its launch later this month.

In a campaign to encourage consumers to be one of the first to own the sought after GALAXY S4, Samsung in partnership with all major operators and service providers, has opened a pre-order service for the new device.

Events hosted in the major cities will see Samsung bring to life some of the exciting new features of the GALAXY S4 such as Samsung Smart Pause which enables you to control the screen by where you look. When you are watching a video the video will pause when you look away, then it starts right up again when you look back. With its Group Play function users can enjoy music, photos, documents and games with those around them without even requiring a Wi-Fi AP or cellular signal. This innovative feature enables users to connect directly with others to share, play and co-create content and entertainment, instantly. Its Share Music option allows users to have the same song playing on multiple phones in sync to create the best party atmosphere.

Activations will be staged in Johannesburg and Cape Town leading up to the main launch event which will be hosted in Nelson Mandela Square, Johannesburg on 27th April 2013.
