Automotive innovation now at the Nissan Technology Square

Nissan will showcase the company’s developing automotive technologies which support mobility in the future, focusing on the environment and safety. Visitors will experience examples of Nissan’s innovation through interactive displays and demonstrations. A model of Nissan’s new electric vehicle, Nissan LEAF, will be on display for the first time on the continent of Africa. A kids’ corner provides child-relevant activities to make this a family-friendly experience for the public.

The Nissan Technology Square, jointly organised by Nissan Motor and Nissan Motor (South Africa) kicked off today at Sandton City Shopping Centre in Sandton, Johannesburg. This exhibition showcases a selection of Nissan’s automotive technologies to key government officials, students, media and the public from 22-30 October 2010.

South Africa joins other major world economies like Australia, India, Dubai and Korea in staging the Technology Square.
