RGB stripe tandem OLED combines the deep blacks and fast response times with improved brightness, colour purity and text clarity. This means richer HDR scenes, cleaner detail and sharper text for gaming and everyday PC use.
It is a significant advancement in OLED technology as the four-stack tandem emissive layer drives brightness higher, while RGB stripe subpixels preserve colour volume for rich, beautiful saturation. Text renders cleanly with no fringing, and a polariser layer maintains deep black levels even in bright environments. It’s the same architecture Alienware proved in the AW3926QW, now in a form factor that fits more desks and more budgets.

The AW3226Q hits 1,000 nits of peak brightness, infinite contrast ratio and is certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and Dolby Vision.
The panel is factory-calibrated to Delta E<2 colour accuracy and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 colour space for truly life-like images. This all means that detail doesn’t get lost in dark scenes, while bright areas of a scene are stunning, and colours are realistic and vibrant.

Is 165Hz enough for 4K gaming?
For most gaming scenarios, 165Hz at 4K strikes a strong balance between resolution and refresh rate. Driving 4K frames is GPU-intensive, and 165Hz is well-suited to handle that demand. Combined with a 0.03ms response time, it delivers smooth, blur-free motion. Who needs a 560Hz gaming monitor?
