New viruses demand you pay up

Kaspersky Labs is warning users about two highly dangerous ransomware programs sweeping across the Internet that could potentially wipe data from victims’ computers. The first virus encrypts a user’s files without his or her knowledge and the second infects a computer’s master boot record and demands payment from the user before restoring it.
