Sentech begins roll out of digital terrestrial broadcasting infrastructure

During 2006, Sentech will begin the process of upgrading the country’s broadcasting infrastructure from an analogue system to a digital ready, terrestrial system, so that South Africa meets broadcasting requirements ahead of the 2010 World Cup.
