The voices of Springfield’s Mr. Burns and Marge Simpson are the next to tell you where to go on TomTom’s new range of GPS navigation systems, which were launched today.
Each of the character voices have beenndeveloped in partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products, ThenGracie Films Worldwide Brand Division and Locutio Voice Technologies. Mr.nBurns and Marge Simpson join the voice of Homer Simpson, which has becomenthe most downloaded character voice of all time, for TomTom GPSnapps and personal navigation devices.
Springfield Nuclear Power Plant ownernMr. Burns is as bold and direct as one would expect: “Take the third right. Donit, driving monkey!” and “Take the exit on the right. Trust me – I’m annevil billionaire.” Marge in the meantime instructs drivers, “Exit rightnahead. Hmm, it smells a little funky in here …was Homer in this car?”
Marge Simpson, Mr. Burns and HomernSimpson are exclusively available for the TomTom App for iPhone, iPad andnpersonal navigation devices. The voices can be downloaded onto anTomTom personal navigation device from mytomtom.com or from TomTom HOME. Usersnof the TomTom iPhone and iPad apps can obtain the voices via in-app purchase.
