Super Bowl delights comics fans

During this past week’s Super Bowl XLVI football game, comic fans were treated to two extended ad spots, with never seen before footage of movie releases – John Carter and The Avengers, coming to theaters later this year.

This past weekend’s Super Bowl XLVI action may very well be remembered for the Giants’ epic win over the Patriots, Madonna’s half-time performance, and perhaps M.I.A.’s infamous rude gesture to an audience of over 110 million viewers but, in addition to the heart-thumping football action, film and comic fans were salivating when 2 commercials premiered during the broadcast.

The 2 extended ad spots revealed never-before-seen footage from the epic releases coming in March and April from Disney and Marvel, namely John Carter and The Avengers respectively.
