SA’s cheapest 3G tablet

The Dynapad is the first 3G tablet to be released in South Africa at under the R3 000 mark, and it beats that mark handsomely.

The cheapest full-featured premium 3G tablet in South Africa has been launched by TabletWorld, a division of LuckyMobile. The price tag: just R2299.

The Dynapad, available from www.tabletworld.co.za, is a 7″ tablet with a snappy 1GHZ Qualcomm processor, Android 2.2 and a 5 megapixel camera.

It comes pre-installed with a range of apps, including Angry Birds, Kindle reader, TuneinRadio, Facebook, Twitter, News24, DropBox, Soundhound, Jango and IMDB.

Says TabletWorld founder, Laurence Seberini: “”With this product, we want to make premium tablets accessible to a whole new segment of the market that could not afford them before. The wide selection of apps available for this Android device as well as the low price-tag makes it perfect for businessmen that need access to work documents and emails on the go.‚

Seberini adds: “”It is also a perfect fit for people who want Web and email access, yet cannot afford a full-featured PC or notebook. And if you already own a notebook, you’ll love the freedom that having a lightweight mobile device gives you to be productive without dragging your mobile computer everywhere you go.””

Tablets also double as e-readers, which means the TabletWorld device is ideal for educational applications. They also offer a superior experience to smartphones for applications such as email and calendaring.

Seberini also believes they are a boon for insurance adjusters, real estate agents and others who do numerous presentations to small audiences.

TabletWorld accepts orders online and payment by credit card or bank transfer. The device is delivered by courier in a few days.
