Samsung has announced the official Chelsea FC app for Android/bada devices, which will offer users real-time information and content from matches across the Barclays Premier League, The FA Cup, Carling Cup and UEFA Champions League.
Samsung Electronics, a sponsor of Chelsea Football Club, has introduced the Android/bada version of the Official Chelsea FC Application. The announcement comes at a fortuitous moment, as the football world still absorbs the shock 1-0 victory in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg by unfancied Chelsea over Barcelona – described by commentators before the match as the “best Barcelona team ever””.
Samsung has launched the highly anticipated application to ensure fans get to enjoy a richer football experience through their smartphones. The application was developed as part of Samsung’s long-standing relationship with Chelsea Football Club.
The free application can be downloaded in 122 countries via www.samsungapps.com.
The Official Chelsea FC Application will provide a better mobile experience in receiving real-time information and content from matches across the Barclays Premier League, The FA Cup, Carling Cup and UEFA Champions League.
Key features include:
· Daily video content
· Live match Рtext commentary, team line-ups, stats, plus scores from live matches
· Fixtures Рwith the ability to allow you to add the fixtures directly to your calendar
· Results and League table
· Player profiles
· Club info and history
· My Chelsea Рmakes navigation simple, you can have all your favourite app content in one area
· Wallpapers and Charts
In addition, fans that pay for a Chelsea TV subscription will get additional access exclusively to match highlights, live audio match commentary and premium clips.
