Samsung has opened up a division focused on offering users certified accessories to go with their Samsung devices.
Samsung Electronics South Africa has expanded operations to include a division specifically focused on branded accessories. This additional offering will allow users to complement their Samsung devices with certified accessories.
‚”There is no doubt that today customers expect more from the brands they support. They live an integrated lifestyle with digital technologies that provide them with additional features that connect their devices,” says Matthew Thackrah, Deputy MD and Director of Consumer Electronics and IT at Samsung Electronics, South Africa.
“”In line with this, Samsung is committed to giving its customers an enriched brand experience that meets their needs across their complete product range, whether it is consumer electronics or mobile devices. With our accessories division we are able offer our customers an end-to-end solution and the opportunity to diversify their ‚’product wardrobe’ for an integrated brand experience.‚””
The newly established business unit will focus on bringing to market accessories, peripherals, and services through Samsung brand stores and mass retailers. The accessories on offer will range from customised phone and tablet covers, to battery chargers, camera lenses, laptop accessories, USB cables, docking stations to name but a few.
‚””Our accessories business is testament to the fact that we want to do more than just sell a device to a customer and leave it at that,”” says Thackrah. “”Rather, we aim to provide consumers with value added offerings to complete their experience and demonstrate how our devices are integrated into a digital eco-system. This is of paramount importance to Samsung and is certainly another way in which we are offering consumers a smarter life without limitations.‚””
