Recharge with the MTNza KeyPad app

MTN has launched an app that allows users to check their airtime balances, buy Internet bundles and recharge their airtime.

MTNza KeyPad is an app that easily allows users to check their airtime balances, buy Internet bundles and recharge with airtime. In addition, the app also allows users to purchase other MTN Internet services. This app is based on customer need for convenience and provides customers with the functionality that was previously not easily available to tablet users.

‚”We are constantly identifying ways to enhance the way customers experience our network,‚” says Mapula Bodibe, GM: Consumer Segments at MTN SA. ‚”Up to now, Tablets have been unable to use USSD codes such as *141#. This made it a tedious and lengthy process for our customers to check their balances, recharge with airtime and purchase Internet bundles because it required them to insert their tablet SIM cards into a mobile phone to do this. The MTNza KeyPad app provides a convenient way to stay connected to the MTN network and access other USSD services directly from their tablets seamlessly.‚”

The MTNza KeyPad app is free of charge and does not carry any further data charges for usage. Please note that any other billable USSD services will be charged for as per normal transactions.
