MWC: Huawei updates MateBook line

At Mobile World Congress, Huawei launched its updated MateBook X Pro and new MateBook 14 notebooks.

While the MateBook X Pro is targeted at the high-end laptop market, Huawei has refreshed its mid-to-high range laptop range. The new MateBook 14 bring the latest technology to mainstream consumers by combining FullView displays with high performance, greater portability, and great build quality.

Both laptops feature a FullView screen engineered to have a 3:2 productivity aspect ratio and a minimised bezel display, supporting 10-point multi-touch.

The MateBook 14 features the same characteristics that define its family of products: FullView display, premium craftsmanship, sophisticated design, and great performance. It sets a new benchmark for 14-inch notebooks with its new display standard, high performance and device inter-connectivity features.

The HUAWEI MateBook 14 is powered by  the 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8565U and the NVIDIA GeoForce MX250 and stays cool with a shark-inspired design fan that supports greater heat dissipation, according to Hauwei. The 57.4Wh (typical value) large capacity battery and Huawei’s smart power-saving solution combine to ensure log battery life.
