In 1975 Tim Leatherman and his wife embarked on a trip around Europe in their 1968 Fiat. Tim became tired of having to continually find the right tool to repair their leaky car, and it was then that the idea of a pocket survival tool was conceived. Now, in 2006, JOEL DORFAN got the opportunity to test drive Leatherman’s new range of knives.
