Justin Timberlake wantsto be on your cell phone
Sony Ericsson has announced a partnership with international singing star Justin Timberlake, starting with a sponsorship of his current tour, and extending into music and video downloads onto cell phones.
Sony Ericsson has announced a partnership with international singing star Justin Timberlake, starting with the current sponsorship of his European Future Sex/Love Show tour. The four month tour, which is taking place in more than 27 cities across the UK and Europe: wraps up in London on 8 July.
Justin Timberlake will then spearhead this year’s Sony Ericsson’s joint music campaign with Vodafone live! until October 2007.

Vodacom will have exclusive rights to a wide range of marketing promotions in all its markets, offering customers Vodafone live! music services on a range of Sony Ericsson Walkman, phones including the Sony Ericsson W200, W660i, and W880i, and the Vodacom exclusive V630i. The Sony Ericsson handsets use Vodacom’s 3G capabilities to deliver music and multimedia applications at high speed and quality.
Vodacom’s Vodafone live! customers will have exclusive access to a WAP site with four Justin Timberlake songs recorded live from his tour. They will then be able to stream these four tracks directly to their handsets. Later on in the year, fans will be able to download wallpapers, ringtones, and screen savers from Vodafone live! And there will be a unique remix of Justin’s Grammy award winning track, ‘Cry Me A River’, to download exclusive to Vodafone live! customers.
