Grayston, Germiston take big bite of Apple contest

Grayston Preparatory School and Germiston High came away multiple winners in the Apple Education Competition 2012.

The Apple in Education Competition 2012 drew more than 1000 entries from over 70 schools across more than 30 subjects. At the recent awards evening, winners were announced in seven categories, with 12 winners across the categories.

The biggest winner, Grayston Preparatory School, won in both a Curriculum category and for Best Teacher, while Germiston High School won two awards for its iSchoolAfrica Youth Press Team.

Learners and teachers won iPod nano’s, iPod Touches, iPads, Macbook Airs and MacBook Pros.
