Samsung Electronics has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S II has reached global channel sales of 3 million units.
The Galaxy S II is Samsung’s flagship smartphone device; a thin (8.49mm) and lightweight, dual-core smartphone that combines an AMOLED Plus viewing experience with incredible performance, all on Android.
The next generation smartphone also includes access to Samsung South Africa’s three new content and entertainment hubs, integrated to provide access to games, e-books and social networking services. Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy S II includes ROUTE 66 navigation – a mobile solution which offers turn-by-turn navigation.
Noteworthy features include Smart Search which allows you to search for points of interests or specific addresses, providing the best matches with every query. Complete maps can be stored locally and ensure instant access.
