WirelessG and South Africa’s official Apple distributor, Core Group, have partnered to offer 1GB free Wi-Fi per month with all new iPad 2 Wi-Fi device purchases, for 12 consecutive months.
The offer will be made available across all the iPad 2 Wi-Fi products: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. Once customers open a G-Connect account, they will be able to share the Wi-Fi balance across all their Wi-Fi enabled devices from one account.
Carel van der Merwe, CEO of WirelessG, says: ‚Our ongoing partnerships with Core Group have been a testament to our value proposition, which is to offer reliable and high speed Internet services, backed up by a full time support team who are highly skilled to assist all our Apple customers.‚
‚We recognised that South African iPad users needed greater access to Wi-Fi hotspots locally. Our partnership with WirelessG, has helped increase this access and will ease the burden of data costs,‚ says Rutger-Jan van Spaandonk, executive director at Core Group.
‚With in-flight Wi-Fi soon becoming available in South Africa, we envision seeing more and more mobile devices such as iPads utilized by travellers. With this joint venture we are able to offer customers a package that will make this a more affordable reality,‚ adds van der Merwe.
G-Connect Wi-Fi customers will have access to over 1,800 Wi-Fi Hotspot locations in South Africa where they will be able to connect to the Internet and top up their accounts easily.
This offer is valid when you purchase your Apple iPad 2 Wi-Fi at any iStore nationwide or Digicape. Store details can be found at www.myistore.co.za and www.digicape.co.za.
