Death Stranding finally heads for PlayStation 4

Hideo Kojima has posted a new trailer for Death Stranding, a highly-anticipated PlayStation exclusive that was thought to be abandoned in 2016.

Click below to watch the trailer and to read more about the game.

Death Stranding is Hideo Kojima’s first new game since he split from Japanese game development company Konami. The subject of the game remains vmysterious, as Kojima has kept the development under wraps.

The last news about the game was at E3 in 2016, where a short trailer was shown that didn’t show too much about the game besides sharp graphics and an interesting art style. This had led many to believe the project was abandoned. Until now.

Little is known about the game, which is intentional. Kojima tends to be very secretive with his projects, similar to the big tech companies with their latest flagship products.

PlayStation provided the following description: “Brave a world utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Carry the disconnected remnants of our future and embark on a journey to reconnect the shattered world one step at a time.”

The following voice actors have been revealed: Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux and Lindsay Wagner.

The game now has a definitive release date: 8 November 2019
