Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced that European gamers had their first chance to get their hands on the hotly anticipated Action MMO, DC Universe Online, at gamescom 2010 in Cologne from 18th to 22nd August ahead of the title’s worldwide release on PC and PLAYSTATION later this year.

The predicted 245,000 visitors to the world’s largest games show will become the first in Europe to be able to create their own superhero persona and try out the eagerly-awaited title on both PS3 and PC at the Sony Computer Entertainment Europe consumer stand in Hall 07.1 of the Cologne Trade Fair Center.

Anticipation for the title, which combines the in-depth involvement of massively Mulitplayer Online gaming with the stunning action and physics of the PS3 and PC, has reached fever point following the reveal of the latest stunning cinematic ‚Story’ trailer at Comic-Con in San Diego last month.
