Book of Spells arrives in SA

One of the most anticipated games yet from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe – Wonderbook: Book of Spells for the PlayStation3 arrives in South Africa tomorrow (16 November).

Children will be able to step into the magic of the wizarding world through Wonderbook: Book of Spells produced in collaboration with Pottermore, J.K. Rowling’s unique and free-to-use website that builds an exciting online experience around the reading of the Harry Potter books.

Wonderbook: Book of Spells is the first title to be published for the jaw-dropping new PlayStation 3 peripheral, Wonderbook, and will give you the chance to discover, learn and practise spells you already know and love from the Harry Potter books. Featuring new and exclusive writing from J.K. Rowling, Book of Spells creates a uniquely immersive spell-casting experience, in which fans will be able to learn and practise spells such as Incendio, Wingardium Leviosa and Expelliarmus.

In the world of Harry Potter, Book of Spells was written over two hundred years ago by Miranda Goshawk, the author of The Standard Book of Spells series. Unlike those volumes, Book of Spells can only be found in the ‚’Restricted Section’ of the Hogwarts library. It is an advanced textbook for students, which will assist them on their journey to becoming an accomplished witch or wizard. Now you can finally get your hands on this elusive text and learn the spells you have always wanted to cast!
