BlackBerry unveils two BB10 devices

BlackBerry today announced two new BlackBerry 10 phones the Z10 touchscreen phone and the Q10 with a QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen, reports SEAN BACHER.

BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins today unveiled two smartphones using the new BlackBerry 10 operating system.

The BlackBerry Z10, a touchscreen phone with a 4.3‚” display, will be the flagship device. it offers what BlackBerry calls a cinematic experience on its vivid screen.

The back offers a textured surface, while the back cover curves slightly around the edge for a better handheld feel.

The BlackBerry Q10, which carries a traditional QWERTY keyboard as well as a touchscreen, offers the full BlackBerry 10 operating system, but in a smaller screen to allow for the physical keyboard.

BlackBerry 10 includes features like BlackBerry Hub, which integrates all messaging into one controllable interface, and ‚”peek‚”, which allows one to dip into any message without leaving a current message.

BlackBerry messenger (BBM) has been dramatically enhanced to incorporate video chat and video conferencing.

A key feature of BlackBerry 10, BlackBerry Balance, allows one user on one phone to separate activities between Personal and Business, to allow enterprises to control enterprise activity on phones connected to the company network, while allowing the user a personal life on the phone.

The new camera allows the user to tap anywhere on the image to take the photo. A feature called BlackBerry Timeshift allows the user to capture a living image that allows you to ‚”scroll back‚” in a photo, and select elements from different moments to make up the best possible version of the photo.
