Roamz, an Australia-based start-up, has released an Android version of its location-based mobile app, which helps users discover the world around them in real-time.
By merging local content, social media and mobile technology, Roamz gives its members up-to-date information about what is happening in their area including user reviews of restaurants, pubs, festivals, events and places ‚ for free, and all at the touch of a button. This release of Roamz offers all the benefits of Roamz 2.0, along with a unique Android flavour. Roamz curates recent and interesting content from social networks like Foursquare, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This, along with images and posts contributed by the Roamz community, allows users to use this app to discover local hot spots and hidden gems alike. New users can use Roamz to discover what locals are talking about whether it be interesting nearby places, events or activities.
