Elections: Google Doodle, trending near me searches, Maimane and the ACDP

Google’s Doodle today depicts South Africa’s national elections, while South Africans ask the search engine for elections amenities near them.

South Africans want to know about the election in general, where their nearest voting stations are, and whether they can vote anywhere. Mmusi Maimane and the ACDP also made the top trending searches in the past hour.

As of 5PM, the EFF is the only political party trending in the Top 5 elections-related searches on Google. Below is the updated graph.

Search trends information is gleaned from data collated by Google based on what South Africans have been searching for and asking Google.
