Opera Mini strikes Angola deal
Opera Software, who produce a mobile web browser that is compatible with most current phone models, has struck a deal with the leading mobile operator in Angola. Up to 6-million customers of the Unitel network will now have the Opera Mini browser made available to them.
Unitel, leading mobile operator in Angola, and Opera Software have signed an agreement that allows Unitel customers quicker access to the Internet from their mobile phones.
Opera Mini is a mobile web browser available for more than 3000 mobile phone models. It is easy to install and enables a better Internet browsing experience similar to a computer. Globally, more than 71 million users surf the Web with Opera Mini, while saving on data traffic expenses due to Opera’s revolutionary data compression technology. In order to take advantage of this service, customers must visit http://m.opera.com/ on their mobile phones and install the Opera Mini browser from there.
