GeoOrbital wheel

Just a few days into their Kickstarter campaign and GeoOrbital is on its way to re-inventing the wheel.

The GeoOrbital wheel converts most racing and mountain bicycles into electrical versions by replacing the front wheel with a 700cc one – looking like it came straight off the Tron movie set.

According to GeoOrbital, the wheel can be installed in a minute and requires no additional tools. Once installed, a cyclist can reach a range of up to 32km without peddling and double that when peddling at the same time. In addition, the wheel will propel the bike up to 30km/h and the battery takes around four hours to fully charge.
