Nashua Mobile goes app

Nashua Mobile has released an app that allows its users to view current spend and evaluate how much airtime, SMS and data have been used within the current month all from their smartphones.

Nashua Mobile has become the first telecommunications service provider in South Africa to launch a smartphone application for all major handset operating systems that allows customers to interact with the company directly from their mobile phones.

The app enables you to view your current spend, evaluate how much airtime, SMS and data you have used within the current month, and check your eligibility for an upgrade. You will also be able to use the interactive store locator to find your nearest Nashua Mobile store.

The app is available as a free download on the Apple App Store, Android Google Play, BlackBerry App World and Windows Phone Marketplace. You will be able to access a range of customer services and manage account information.

The ability to buy prepaid airtime and other services directly from your phone is planned for release shortly. The App is designed and optimised for BlackBerry, Apple iOS, Windows Phone 7 and all Android versions. It will become available to the Nokia Store on Nokia Symbian smartphones soon.

Says Chris Radley, Managing Director at Nashua Mobile: ‚”The development of this new app falls in line with our focus on making life as easy and convenient for our customers as possible. The app features robust security and an intuitive look and feel, making it a safe and fast way for customers to access information and services from Nashua Mobile. What could be easier than managing your telecommunications needs straight from your phone, whenever you need to?‚”
