Konami scores virtual soccer goal with PES 2015
Konami Digital Entertainment has launched the PES Virtual UEFA Champions League competition to coincide with the release of PES 2015 (Pro Evolution Soccer 2015) on 13 November.
The PES Virtual UEFA Champions League acts as a central competition for all online and offline PES 2015 players on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The competition has unified a number of local leagues, and is open to any PES 2015 fans. Entry details can be found in all packaged versions of the game, or you can visit www.pesleague.com. Entry is free and a number of prize partners will be announced shortly, as will details of key online and offline competitions.
Additionally, this year’s PES League season will bring together for the first time – the PES Virtual UEFA Champions League, which will run until June 2015, and the PES World Finals. PES League will collate all PES 2015 online results and display them on the player’s very own profile on the www.pesleague.com website. This means players can keep a close eye on their PES performances and even see where they rank within their own territory and globally as well.
With over R350 000 in prizes, and a chance to win tickets to attend the UEFA Champions League Final up for grabs, PES 2015 players can participate in local tournaments to qualify for the regional finals and compete for a chance to play at the PES World Finals. Taking place on 6th June 2015, the PES World Finals will be held, not only on the same day as the UEFA Champions League Final, it will take place pitchside, in the Olympiastadion in Berlin, during the build-up before the actual UEFA Champions League Final!
Previous PES Leagues have attracted over 200,000 players. This year however, Konami takes the competition to a global level bringing together PES 2015 players from all over the world.
