MultiChoice’s new DStv WiFi Connector links a DStv Explora to an existing in-home WiFi network, enabling additional Internet-based services.

The new connector features a USB docking station, making it easier to connect to a router, even if it is in another room and eliminating the need to run a cable from the router to the Explora.

Once connected, users are able to access Catch Up Plus which includes 1 000 movies in the M-Net Collection, as well as the ability to set recordings remotely, and it also allows access to Showmax for an additional R69 for DStv Premium customers

The DStv WiFi Connector is available from most DStv service centres or DStv agencies, as well as retail stores for R199.

Simba idolises his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his.

Staying true to the classic story, director Jon Favreau utilises pioneering film-making techniques to bring the iconic characters to the big screen in a new way. Also featuring James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon, Disney’s The Lion King opens in cinemas this weekend.
