Cell C promos 5c/MB mobile broadband

Cell C has announced several new promotional rates for its contract data offerings, including one that offers 1GB of data per month for R69 a month. Its best value for money in high-end bundles, a 10GB package for R499 a month, works out at 5c per MB.

We already offer the best out of bundle rate, and coupled with these price cuts, we know customers will be pleased,‚” says Cell C CEO Alan Knott-Craig.

Contract subscribers can now purchase Cell C’s 500MB per month offering for R39 per month. The 1GB per month offering will now cost R69 per month, which is an effective rate of 7c per MB. For top end contract customers, the new price for the 10GB monthly package will cost R499 per month and 20GB R999 per month.

‚”With these new rates, we are telling our customers that Cell C is willing to compete to provide the best offerings on the market. There is no out of bundle shock, because all these new rates have the same out of bundle rate of 15c, the best available on the market,‚” says Knott-Craig.

Cell C will continue to offer its Giga promotional packages, which provide customers with large volumes of midnight data (for use between 00h00 and 6am daily). Giga 20 on contract and top up offers the best value 5GB offering at only R189 per month with the additional benefit of 15GB midnight data.

The new promotional offers will be effective from Tuesday 09th April and will run for 3 months (until 30 June). The table below details Cell C’s current data promotions:
