Sigma, distributed in South Africa by Tudortech, will be showcasing the world’s first 20mm F1.4 lens at this year’s Photo & Film Expo at The TicketPro Dome from 19 to 22 November.
Sigma provided the following information:
The Sigma 20mm F1.4 DG HSM ultra-wide-angle lens, created with F1.4 brightness, delivers high speed and high-level artistic expression. With a focal length of 20mm and F1.4 aperture, this lens also delivers outstanding large-aperture brightness and bokeh, delivering unprecedented visual experiences. Allowing the photographer to leverage the perspective provided by the wide-angle and the shallow depth of field provided by the large aperture, this lens is ideal not only for such ultra-wide-angle subjects as landscapes and starry skies, but also for snapshots in low light, indoor photography, portraits with a natural bokeh effect, and much more.
Visitors to the Sigma stand (No. 101), will also be able to get some hands on time with the new Sigma 24-35mm F2 DG HSM lens, a world-first, large-aperture full-frame zoom lens offering a wide open aperture of F2 throughout the zoom range. It covers the focal range 24-35mm, and 24mm, 28mm and 35mm – the commonly used prime lenses among photographers. Technical staff will be on hand to take visitors through product demonstrations, answer all product related questions including pricing. Sigma product including all new Sigma Global Vision lenses will also be on display and available to purchase directly from the stand through retailer, The Digital Experience.
