Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Lens

Following in the success of the company’s Z6 and Z7 lenses, it’s mirrorless “Z” lens range welcomes the new Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Lens.

Whether the lens is used for still photography or video, it remains the sharpest yet of the Z range. The close-up performance is claimed to be superior to any full-frame 24-70 mm lens available today. Issues with lens flare have been addressed with this lens, reducing light leak with a wide Z mount. Starbursts are also improved with the constant f/2.8 rounded 9-blade aperture.

Other features include an L-Fn button that offers the same options as the Fn1/Fn2 buttons found on the camera body. There is also a Lens Information Panel that provides a quick way of viewing aperture, focus distance, and depth-of-field. Additionally, the lens has a fast autofocus system, a programmable Control Ring, and large focus and zoom rings.
