It is the eve of Earth’s destruction in 2093, and we follow a group of scientists and a telepath as they travel on the most advanced ship in the galaxy, called The Nightflyer. The space travellers are on a mission to contact alien lifeforms who may hold the knowledge needed to save mankind from extinction.
This doesn’t go to plan though. According to Netflix, “as the crew travels deeper into the unknown, more and more mysterious and destructive incidents begin to threaten the mission and the lives of ”.
“Nightflyers is a haunted house story on a starship,” Martin said in a preview. “It’s Psycho in space… I can’t wait to actually see it come alive on the screen.”
