Nashua Mobile has announced special promotional prices for entry-level Internet connectivity services that bring the entry level down to below anything offered by the major telcos – despite the fact that it is re-selling their services.

Customers can get Internet connectivity for as low as R39 a month for an iBurst wireless broadband solution and as little as R139 a month for an ADSL solution. The promotion runs from 7 March to 6 April.

Customers can opt for a 384kbps ADSL subscription with 1 GB of ADSL data for a year and a 4GB POP mailbox for as little as R139.00 for the duration of the promotion. This 12-month package, which includes a Billion ADSL router, usually sells at R195.00 a month.

The ADSL broadband special, which includes 1GB of data, represents a saving of R56 a month compared to the usual price.

Nashua Mobile recently embarked on a campaign to cure the common condition of ‘Internet-lessness’ in South Africa. The company defines ‘Internet-lessness’ as an absence of a connection to the Internet resulting from high costs and/or a lack of knowledge of the benefits from being connected to the Internet.

Says Doug Mattheus, marketing director at Nashua Mobile: “”Nashua Mobile is leading South Africa’s war on ‘Internet-lessness’ by educating consumers about how they can get connected quickly and affordably, and which personal and professional benefits they can enjoy by going online. We aim to provide the most affordable cures for Internet-lessness on the market.””

Nashua Mobile offers one of the widest ranges of Internet, data and broadband solutions available from a single point in South Africa, including a full portfolio of Internet access offerings including fixed-line ADSL powered by Telkom and Verizon: wireless Broadband from iBurst and Sentech: and cellular technologies (such as GPRS, EDGE, 3G and HSDPA) from Vodacom, MTN and Cell C.

Nashua Mobile also offers web site design, website and/or email hosting, e-commerce, anti-virus, mobile personal information management, anti-spam and systems integration solutions.
