42 wireless industry leaders, innovators and startups previewed numerous new mobile products for work, home and play to an estimated 600 journalists at ShowStoppers, the press-only showcase event that set the stage for the the Mobile World Congress tradeshow in Barcelona, Spain.
The seventh-edition of ShowStoppers @ MWC broke records for the number of exhibiting companies, bringing news and new products to the magical music box that is the Palau de la Musica Catalana an architectural jewel at the heart of Barcelona that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The largest, longest-running and most-productive press event during the Congress, ShowStoppers @ MWC 2014 blew past benchmarks from 2013, when the press event showcased 32 companies at the world-renowned Grand Opera.
