With the debut of Sony’s latest range of 3D BRAVIA TVs and 3D Blu-ray home theatre system, 3D entertainment is readily available for consumers to enjoy in the comfort of their living space.

Extending the 3D BRAVIA line-up with two new network models, BRAVIA NX810 and NX710, Sony is ready to transform consumers’ living space with a lethal combination of 3D capability, connectivity and stunningly elegant Monolithic design.
With the NX810 and NX710, users can easily go on a 3D adventure by connecting the TV to the 3D Sync Transmitter and putting on Sony Active Shutter 3D glasses to start enjoying lifelike, immersive high definition 3D entertainment. Quality is assured even in 2D, as the TVs feature BRAVIA Engine 3TM high definition video processor, Dynamic Edge LED backlighting and Motionflow technology of up to 200Hz, resulting in incredibly sharp images, smooth motion and ultra high contrast of over 1,000,000:1.
Featuring BRAVIA Internet Video for a world of on-demand, online entertainment, the Wi-Fi integrated BRAVIA TVs put users in control of their favourite content whenever they want, with no need for a PC. From the latest TV programmes to streaming videos on YouTube, users can conveniently catch up on entertainment and look forward to new content and video channels that are added to BRAVIA Internet Video regularly. Total 3D Movie Experience
Giving the home the full cinema package, the BDV-IZ1000W delivers incredible surround sound via five ultra slim speakers, using a virtual 7.1 wireless rear speaker system and 1000W of S-Master full digital technology exclusively from Sony. Coupled with Sony’s 3D Surround technology, the 3D entertainment experience takes on a new depth and realism that is bound to completely envelope viewers in each and every scene.
Featuring Sony’s signature Monolithic design and the award-winning XrossMediaBar (XMB) on-screen menu, the stylish and easy-to-use BDV-IZ1000W is ready to play high-definition 3D content from Blu-ray Discs, as well as access a wide range of on-demand content from BD LIVE and the BRAVIA Internet Video platform. The BDV-IZ1000W also makes it possible to record video on Blu-ray discs in Full HD resolution, so users can enjoy lifelike images. In addition, the BDV-IZ1000W also includes Entertainment Database Browser by Sony to access disc cover art, actor, and production information, as well as IP Content Noise Reduction technology.
Recreating the cinematic experience, the BDV-IZ1000W is equipped with 24p True Cinema technology and Precision Cinema HD Upscaling to improve standard definition and web video quality. Digital Cinema Auto Calibration (DCAC) and high definition Digital Cinema Sound are also available to conveniently reproduce the audio experience at the cinema, using sound recordings from Sony Pictures Entertainment studios.
More Content, Less Hype
All 3D BRAVIA TVs are supported by a rapidly increasing variety of 3D content, including the latest Hollywood movies on Blu-ray 3D disc, such as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, sports, music, natural history and entertainment from new 3D cable and satellite channels: even 3D games such as WipEout HD and MotorStorm Pacific Rift for the PlayStation 3.
Creative movie makers can further use Sony’s latest range of and Cyber-shot cameras to easily produce 3D panoramic shots, both portrait and landscape, with Sony’s exclusive 3D Sweep Panorama function. This easy-to-use function allows users to simply sweep the camera in a horizontal or vertical direction to capture impressive, ultra-wide panorama shots in 3D that can be viewed on any compatible LCD TV that supports 3D viewing via HDMI.
