Apple has revealed a trailer for Dickinson, which it describes as a darkly comedic coming-of-age story and a woman’s fight to have her voice heard.
Dickinson explores the constraints of society, gender and family through the lens of rebellious young poet Emily Dickinson.
Singer Hailee Steinfeld plays Emily Dickinson, and also sings the backing song in the trailer. Jane Krakowski, Toby Huss, and Ella Hunt also star in Dickinson. It was created by Alena Smith and produced alongside David Gordon Green, Michael Sugar, Ashley Zalta, Alex Goldstone, and Darlene Hunt.
Dickinson will stream on Apple TV+, starting 1 November.
