Microsoft has announced the Lumia 530 in South Africa. An entry-level device running the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system, but still offering many of the features found on high-end Lumia smartphones.
Microsoft today announced the availability of the Lumia 530 in South Africa, with a recommended retail price starting at just R1349. A powerful entry to Windows Phone 8.1, the Lumia 530 offers many of the features found in high-end Lumia smartphones.
The Lumia 530 provides a good balance of smartphone features at a very affordable price, intending to attract more people into the Microsoft ecosystem.
The Lumia 530 offers the following features:

The Lumia 530 is expected to start sales locally in mid-September and will be available initially in dark grey and white, along with a selection of changeable shells in a variety of colours.
